FOUNDATION DIRECTOR SUB-COMMITTEE
Purpose:
To support and provide Rotary Foundation services for the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk.
Goals:
- To support the Club in all areas of Foundation participation.
- To facilitate up to date and effective communication with respect to the Foundation events, activities and projects.
- To encourage members to join and maintain membership of the Foundation giving programs through EREY, Centurion and Paul Harris Society.
- To facilitate applications for successful Foundation Grants.
- To ensure all members have the opportunity to attend all planned Foundation events.
Guidelines:
- The Foundation Director will report to the Board of the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk.
- The Foundation Director will meet with the Sub-Committee as required to coordinate programs and events.
- The Foundation Director will assist the Club President with succession planning for the Director’s role.
- The Foundation Director will consult with the Club Leadership Group to jointly agree the selection of Club sponsored Paul Harris Fellow nominees (usually awarded at the changeover dinner).
- The Sub-Committee will seek to identify any potential Foundation opportunities with which the Club may become involved.
- In readiness for the start of each Rotary year the Foundation Director will undertake a plan of events for the forthcoming year and prepare a budget reflecting the costs to the Club of the planned events.
- The Foundation Director and Sub-committee will ensure that all planned events are inclusive and appropriate for the Club.
- The Foundation Director and Sub-Committee will manage the application process for any Foundation Grants that the Board decides are relevant and appropriate for the Club from both a physical and financial perspective.
