COMMUNITY DIRECTOR SUB-COMMITTEE
 
Purpose:
 
To support and provide delivery of Community Services programs under the banner of the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk
 
Goals:
 
  • To deliver programs and activities that benefit the Local Community
  • To facilitate up to date and effective communication with respect to the Community Programs within the Club.
  • To ensure that Community programs are promoted throughout the area.
 
Guidelines:
 
  • The Community Director will meet regularly with the sub-committee to coordinate programs.
  • The Sub-Committee will seek to identify any possible programs within the community.
  • In readiness for the start of each Rotary year the Community Director will undertake a plan of events for the forthcoming year and prepare a budget reflecting the costs of the planned events.
  • The Community Director will ensure the Rotary Club of Eaglehawk is represented on Local Committees or organisations that are deemed appropriate for our club’s involvement and report back to the sub-committee on decisions and activities.
  • The Community Director will provide a representative to the Eaglehawk Dahlia and Arts Committee.
  • The Community Director and Sub-Committee will undertake the club community activities such as the Clubs commitment to the Cluster Swap Meet Committee.
  • The Community Sub-Committee will be responsible for Chairing and Organising the Australia Day Community Breakfast.
