The Rotary Clubs of Eaglehawk and Bendigo South gathered at the home of Brian and Gail Fitzpatrick to share a meal, a few drinks and a lot of laughter.  Reflecting on the year that is almost over, it was a delightful evening and apart from the heat (Brian forgot to order the weather), it was a great opportunity for our members to mingle and continue the great camaraderie that has been established over the years.  Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure .....

The club recently received an update on our support of the Bendigo Maubisse Friendship Committee, included was this photo of a playground that was obviously being enjoyed by many children in the playground of the Maubisse Primary School.  Of significance for our club, in particular Secretary John Jones, was that this playground was originally at Lightning Reef Primary School and John helped to dismantle it and prepare it for shipping to Maubisse.
