Continuing to support the Rochester community, members of our club attended the Songs at the Silos event last Saturday evening.
Rochester community hosted a terrific concert on Saturday March 8 on the lawn in front of their silo art works.
DG Michael Lapina, Adam Miller, Eleanor Blythman and Karen van Spail presented a wonderful night of opera and musical theatre.
Local singer, Ella Scoble, also sang to an audience of over 500 local and Rotary folk from far and wide.
Heather Watson was acknowledged for her wonderful community work and all the organisations that helped to put the event together were recognised.
Mandy and Mick Costello, Mick's sister Anne and myself were there along with quite a few Rotarians from the Bendigo Clubs. RC of Bendigo put on a BBQ with the Rochester Lions also helping with the catering.
All round it was a terrific night.
