Our club have supported the Rotary Club of Echuca-Moama's Malaysia Special Education Program. The following is an invitation to Rotarians to hear an update on stage 2 of the program.
Your opportunity to hear about Stage 2 of Rotary’s Malaysia
Special Education programme
When: Rotary Club of Bendigo South meeting - Thursday 10 April, 6:00pm for 6:30pm.
Where: Lake View Hotel, 204 McCrae Street, Bendigo.
Our local Rotary Clubs in Bendigo, Castlemaine, Echuca/Moama and Rochester, in association with Malaysian Rotary Clubs, arranged for two local Special Education teachers, Angie Kloft and Ben Ridge, to visit Malaysia for two weeks to pass on their Special Education knowledge and expertise to teachers, parents and carers.
Angie and Ben will outline the work they did in Malaysia and provide an update on the eight Malaysian Special School teachers who visited our local Special Schools in April/May last year.
Angie is a Leading Teacher & Behaviour Coach from Bendigo Special Developmental School and Ben Ridge is the Assistant Principal, Echuca Twin Rivers Specialist School. Before conducting training seminars at several Malaysian schools, they were major presenters at the 2-day International Special Education Symposium held in Kuala Lumpur.
Catering: meals are purchased at the bar and delivered to the meeting room after the presentation. They will ask for your name.
