D9800 Conference 2024

The annual rotary district conference, 'Gathering on the Goldfields' was held in Bendigo in April 2024. Eaglehawk Rotary Club were honoured to host the event and to attract visitors from all over the state, interstate and even some international guests. We were delighted with the caliber of guest speakers, all of whom spoke on topics that are relevant to the current focus of rotary. With our major drawcard speaker being Costs Gorgiadis who entertained and delivered such a powerful message about the importance of respecting and looking after our environment. Local entertainers were an absolute delight and enthralled the visitors, with particular mention to the local Lion Dance Team who provided such a special welcome to those attending the Conference Dinner.
