Last Wednesday, Samantha McIvor and Laura Smith from Bendigo Bank spoke about Benefit Bendigo, which can make donations or provide grants, as well as provide support for local charities, sporting clubs and community groups. Bendigo Bank customers can link their accounts, so a share of profits is reinvested in Greater Bendigo through Benefit Bendigo.

Thanks to everyone who has donated items or $20 for the Mums & Bubs Bags. We have raised around $100 towards our $240 target and still need cash or listed items. The board will match donations dollar for dollar, at least up to the $240. Great work, everybody.

It's that time of the year again! Tickets go on sale Monday, 28th September. The trailer is packed and looks fantastic, loaded with a lot of very good prizes - in fact there is something for everyone. It just gets better every year. Members will be issued with their raffle books shortly, we would greatly appreciate your efforts in selling tickets to your family and friends - every ticket sold contributes funds to our club and makes our fundraising goal for the year that little bit easier.

As a result of President Lindsay's announcement at our club meeting and the response from members, the board will continue to support this project. As an additional option, we are accepting cash donations to enable the purchase of items for the mum & bub bags. This is a great idea as it will enable us to shop for the exact items needed to complete the bags for donation.
Your contributions will be needed within the next two weeks - direct payment into the Club's Admin Account - reference it with ‘Mum&Bub’, or alternatively, a contribution of cash via EFTPOS at our next two meetings will also be very welcome. (For your added convenience, we will have the EFTPOS available next week when we gather at Borchelli's Ristorante.)
